Kaitiaki Protection Limited was officially established in June 2019, with our team bringing over 60 years of collective experience in the security industry. Located in the heart of Rotorua, we proudly serve the surrounding area, offering tailored security solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Our services include Bar Security, Property Security, Electronic Surveillance, Roving Security, and more. We utilize closed-network CCTV technology for surveillance and are committed to staying at the forefront of new advancements as they emerge.

As a proudly Māori-owned business, we hold our cultural heritage in high regard. Our unique logo features the Taniwha, a guardian (kaitiaki) from the Rangitaiki River in Murupara, the iwi of our CEO, Bert Messent. The Taniwha, named Hinengawari, embodies our core values and mission: Kia Hiwa Rā – Always be Alert. This commitment drives us to remain vigilant in protecting our clients' interests while respecting and honoring our cultural roots.
